It’s raining blueberries on my blog, isn’t it? Well this is what happens when you buy a huge box of blueberries from Costco! After posting blueberry scones yesterday, today I am sharing a blueberry banana smoothie recipe.

Smoothies are probably the easiest thing that you can make for breakfast. I mean all you need to do is to throw everything together in a blender and it hardly takes any time, plus smoothies are so filling. One big glass in the morning and you are sure to not feel hungry till lunch. It’s also a good way to include milk/yogurt in your diet especially for someone like me who hates milk! Well actually I don’t hate milk but just not very fond of it. As a kid though my mom had to struggle a lot to feed me milk, it was a challenge she says.

This smoothie has lots of banana and lots of blueberries and take only 5 minutes to make and tastes awesome. Actually banana & blueberries are 2 of my favorite fruits and so it’s not surprising that this is one my favorite smoothies.

The amount of honey can be adjusted to taste, it also depends on how sweet the fruits are. The ones I used were really sweet so 1/2 tablespoon of honey was fine.
