Can you believe we are in July already! Where did the time go? and before we even realize it would be Christmas. Didn’t we just celebrate Christmas? Seriously time is flying way too fast. What did you guys do over the long weekend? We went to a BBQ party and I made paneer tikka and then we also did some grilling at home. We got this really cute small grill and we grilled some corn and ate it the Indian way with some chat masala , chili powder and lemon, ahh bliss!
These days I feel like the time should stop and the next week should never come. The thought of family leaving is making me really sad. Ever since we shifted into our new house, everyone has been there and now suddenly I will be all alone after hubby goes to office. Such a pretty color, isn’t it? I mean the color of this raita. I’m so in love with this pretty magenta! Raita is always an integral part of Indian meals, it has to do with the fact that our food is full of spices and so we do need a cooling raita to balance off the heat. Raita is nothing but a yogurt dip to which we add little seasoning. It’s mostly made of vegetables but fruit ones are also becoming popular these days, like this pineapple raita.
