    In stead of me posting a recipe, today let’s talk about healthy snacking options. The truth is that this is one area where we all struggle. Isn’t it? So when I first moved to US, I had nothing to do. I mean I didn’t have this blog, I wasn’t working so what do I do? Obviously EAT. I would snack on anything and everything, whatever I could lay my hands on, it went into my mouth. The portion sizes in US were huge so that didn’t help either. And becoming a member of Costco and getting those huge boxes of chips and cookies made things worse!

    4-5 months into this lifestyle and it started showing on my waistline. Clothes were getting tighter by the day and that’s when I realized that I need to get hold of this before things went out of control. Few months of lifestyle changes and I was back to my normal “fitter” self. Other than exercising regularly, the most important change that I made was to snack smartly. Cookies and chips were shown the door and in came fruits, nuts and yogurt into my life!

    One of my favorite things to snack on is flavored yogurtI discovered flavored yogurt while studying in UK. I actually had no idea that there so many flavors of yogurt before. It quickly became one of my favorite things to snack on and these days my absolute favorite is Yogurt Plenti. I eat it regularly for breakfast and also as a post-workout snack.

    What I love about this product is that it is healthy, filling and satisfying unlike regular yogurts. The regular ones even though delicious aren’t satisfying. But Yoplait Plenti is greek yogurt mixed with wholesome ingredients like oats, flax and pumpkin seeds (all healthy & natural stuff!) and that’s why when I eat a container of this yogurt (5.5 oz) I don’t feel like munching on anything for the next few hours.

    2. This yogurt sounds so yummy! I always love trying the newest flavored yogurt! My only issue is that sometimes they are a bit too sweet for me (I’m weird and don’t like sweet stuff that much, haha).

    3. We usually top our yogurt with homemade granola that includes flax seeds. But it always seems like we are out of granola. I love that these already have yummy toppings mixed in!
