Sunwarrior Protein Review

Do we really need protein supplements available in the market? Is out diet not enough to provide all the proteins that the body needs? These were exactly my thoughts some years back when I didn’t know much about exercise and nutrition. I had limited knowledge and I never gave protein powders a second thought. But over the years I realized that my diet doesn’t provide enough proteins to my muscles which they need after I lift weights or run. It’s especially true for vegetarians [like me] who do vigorous workouts or for someone who wants to gain muscles.

But the biggest challenge that I faced was to find a protein powder which actually tasted good. Most of the supplements that I tried tasted like chalk/sand! Sounds familiar? I bet it does because I grew up eating these kind of protein powders and that’s why I stayed away from them all this while. So I was quite excited when I was contacted by Sunwarrior to try and review their protein powders because a) I am always looking out for better tasting protein powders b) my husband just started strength training and is working on building some muscles so there couldn’t have been a better time.

All Sunwarrior products are raw , vegan and made with stuff that is 100% natural and good for you. Here are the products that I received.

Sunwarrior Protein Starter Pack

While it all sounded good on paper, I couldn’t possibly form an opinion without trying them first. So I made a peanut butter banana shake using Sunwarrior Classic Vanilla Protein and I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. This is the only product that I tried and so this is one that I will be talking about! Other than vanilla, there’s also Sunwarrior Classic Chocolate Protein . Then there’s also Vanilla and Chocolate Warrior Blend which combine several rich protein sources like raw hemp seed protein, raw cranberry protein into one powerful formula.

Sunwarrior Classic Vanilla Protein Review

Sunwarrior Classic Vanilla Protein Powder

Ingredients: Raw Whole Grain Brown Rice Protein, Rice Oligodextrin, Vanilla Extract, Stevia, Xanthan Gum, Ancient Sea Salt, Pectin

Why it works?

#All natural: Compared to most of the protein powders available in the market, Sunwarrior protein comes from brown rice. It’s vegan, 100% plant-based and free of any chemicals and preservatives.

#Provides just the right amount of protein: 1 scoop of classic vanilla protein provides 15g of protein, which is just the right amount of protein that your body needs, neither too much nor too less.

#Tastes great: I think one of the great things about Sunwarrior protein powder is that is tastes so good. There’s no chalky taste nor do I feel drinking grit and sand.

#Mixes well : The protein powder blended beautifully with the milk and other ingredients in my shake. I have had protein powders before where they would never mix in properly and here all I had to do was give one quick mix in the blender.

#It’s for everyone: It’s vegan, gluten-free, organic, non GMO, soy-free, MSG-free. In short, Sunwarrior proteins are for everyone.
