2mangoesuse sweet mangoes, preferably Indian varieties like kesar, alphonso
1-2tablespoonssugarto taste
1 & 1/2cupsmilkI used whole milk
Instructions
To a blender (of you can also use a hand blender), add mango pulp from 2 sweet mangoes. Then add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar to taste. Amount of sugar will also depend on how sweet the mangoes are. If the mangoes are really sweet, you can even skip the sugar.
Then add 1 & 1/2 cups of cold milk. You can use milk of choice. Whole milk makes it creamier.
Blend until everything is well combined. You can also add 3 to 4 ice cubes if you want.Thick and creamy mango milkshake is now ready. Pour into serving glasses and serve immediately.

Notes
Make it refined sugar-free: if the mangoes are sweet, you can skip the sugar and the shake will be naturally sweetened. But if you want to make it sweet yet keep the shake refined sugar free, you can use natural sweeteners like dates. Even honey or jaggery will work.
Flavor the shake: this recipe is for a simple mango shake, if you want, you can flavor it with cardamom powder or saffron or even both. Some rose water or vanilla extract can be also be added.
Make it richer and creamier: add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make the mango milkshake creamier, richer and tastier. I usually do this when I making this as a special treat. You can even add a scoop of mango ice cream.
Finish with whipped cream: you can always add some homemade whipped cream on top before serving.
Garnish with nuts: if you want, you can garnish your milkshake with chopped pistachios, almonds or even cherries for a pop of color.
Serve it immediately: I have noticed that unlike mango lassi, the flavor of mango milkshake changes when you store it for a longer period of time. So, I suggest serving it immediately.
