Don’t we all love chocolates with nuts? I for sure do! Chocolates with cashews, almonds, hazelnuts are my absolute favorite. Back in school, I used to love Cadbury’s Fruit & Nut chocolate, ahh the crunchiness as the chocolate melts in your mouth, bliss. And so the other day I was thinking about making chocolates at home and then I realized I don’t really have all the equipment and raw materials required for making chocolates from scratch.

And so I made this chocolate fudge using store brought chocolate chips and pistachio. Because the taste of the fudge will depend on the chocolate chip that you use, make sure they are of good quality. I used Nestle semi-sweet morsels and would highly recommend using the same.

This chocolate pistachio fudge is ready in 10 minutes and you need only 6 ingredients for making it.  Easy right?

Make this treat for your kids, I bet they’ll love it. Well elders will love it too, my husband just can’t stop eating it!

Method

Line a square pan with parchment paper, set aside.

1. Put the chocolate chips in a heavy bottom pan, keep the flame at medium-low.

2. As the chocolate starts melting, stir in the butter.

3. Also add in the condensed milk and vanilla extract.

4. Stir till the mixture becomes a smooth paste.

5. Switch off the flame and add the pistachios, mix.

6. Pour the mixture in the pan lined with parchment paper.

8. Cut into squares using a knife. The parchment paper will peel off easily.

9. Keep the pieces refrigerated in an airtight container.

* You can substitute pistachio with any nut of your choice.

* Use good quality chocolate for making the fudge. You can use baking bars instead of chocolate chips.

* Chilling in fridge is not compulsory, you can just let the pan cool down at room temperature for 3-4 hours.
