Pesto-Pasta-cwm

I made this pasta using fresh homemade basil pesto, the recipe of which I shared on my blog few days back. I have made pesto pasta using store brought pesto too but like they say the taste of anything that you make fresh at home  is unmatched and this is no different.

This recipe can be made in few minutes if you have ready to use pesto sauce on hand. Just boil the pasta and mix it with the sauce, it’s that easy. I didn’t use much cream or cheese here because personally I’m not very fond of them. But I know people who love lots and lots of cheese in their pasta so if you are one of them, please add as much cheese as you want.

The pasta taste great on it’s own or with a side of garlic bread or salad.

Method

Boil the pasta according to instructions on the packet. Set aside.

1. Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped garlic into it. Saute for a minute or so.

2. Add the pesto and mix it with the garlic.

3. Add the boiled pasta and mix with the pesto and garlic. Also add salt & pepper.

5. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top and switch off the flame.

6. Serve the pasta with a side of salad/bread.
