I love fruits, they are a part of my everyday routine. I usually eat fruits as such but sometimes I also make smoothies and shakes out of them. These shakes are quite filling and a good breakfast option, they are also good as a post-workout meal.

Bananas & strawberries are 2 of my favorite fruits and almost always present in my kitchen. This milkshake tastes awesome and it’s super easy to make too.

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients

Bananas: 2, chopped

Strawberries: 15-20, chopped

Milk, cold: 2 cups

Vanilla: 1/2 tsp

Honey/Sugar: 3-4 tsp or to taste

Method

1. Peel and chop the bananas into small pieces.

2. Wash the strawberries, chop off their stalks and cut them into pieces.

3. In a blender, mix together the chopped bananas, strawberries, vanilla extract, milk and honey.

4. Blend till the shake is smooth.

5. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.

* The milkshake was a little thick but that’s how I like it. If you want a thinner consistency add more milk.

* You can add vanilla ice cream to the shake, will taste great for sure.
