The football season is in full swing these days. So much so that when the matches are on, the shopping malls are like deserted on the weekends. When I first moved to US, I obviously didn’t know the craze for this sport here and so I remember that once I went shopping when there was a match going on and no one was there in the shopping mall. I really couldn’t figure out what was wrong and then I saw a group of people sitting at one place glued to the television set and that’s when I realized the real reason behind empty roads!
Anyway that was long back and over the years I have warmed up to the game as well. However the truth is that I am still not a huge football fan but I am a big fan of all things that come with it, like watching the game with friends and the most important thing – the delicious food! I think watching football without delicious food is plain boring. Agree?
This weekend we had friends over at our place and so I rushed off to Walmart to get some snacks and finger food. While at it, I grabbed SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Variety , which is the perfect size to share with your friends. I also picked so, Skittles®, Pepsiâ„¢ 20 oz. bottle and also TOSTITOS® Chips & Salsa because honestly what’s a party without some chips and salsa?
And then I thought of adding my special touch to the already delicious SNICKERS® bars and made this Caramel SNICKERS® Cheesecake Dip. You guys know how much I love SNICKERS® and how much I love cheesecake so this dip was begging to happen! And I’m so glad I made it because it turned out delicious and the bowl was wiped clean in minutes!
All you need is 4 ingredients and 10 minutes to make this dip. Seriously can it get any easier? I love to serve dips to my friends because a) everyone loves them! and b) they don’t involve me standing in the kitchen for hours. As much as I love to cook, I also want to enjoy the game with everyone. I served this dip with some sliced apples and topped it some more caramel sauce and chocolate sauce! So good you guys!
You can serve this Caramel SNICKERS® Cheesecake Dip with sliced apples (because apples & caramel are meant for each other) , pretzels or any other fruits of your choice. Hope you guys give this a try at your next Big Game party. Here’s how you make this super easy dip!
Method
Using paddle attachment of your stand mixer or using your hand mixer beat room temperature cream cheese till smooth.
Add salted caramel sauce or caramel sauce to it. I used homemade salted caramel sauce but you can use store bought as well.
Beat till the sauce is well combined with the cream cheese.
Add in the whipped topping and mix till combined.
Fold in 1/2 cup chopped SNICKERS®.
Transfer to serving bowl and drizzle chocolate sauce and remaining caramel sauce on top. Garnish with remaining 1/2 cup chopped SNICKERS®.
Serve the Caramel SNICKERS® Cheesecake Dip with apples, pretzels or anything else you fancy!

Caramel Snickers Cheesecake Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 1/3 cup caramel sauce or salted caramel sauce [homemade or store bought]
- 1 cup chopped snickers divided [I used SNICKERS FUN SIZE Variety]

- chocolate sauce
to serve
- apples pretzels, crackers
Instructions

I’ve never really been a big fan of football, but I also really like all of the snacks that come with it. This dip looks amazing! I love the cheesecake/Snickers/apple combination. Sounds great! This wouldn’t last ten minutes around here!

We don’t have the same game day madness as in the US, maybe during world cup for soccer. But I totally get the whole atmosphere around that. Isn’t that what we do with cricket in India.
